This is the outdoor kitchen that is just across the trail from the house with the thatched roof. Notice the adobe oven, the pila in the background. All houses--even ours--have pilas. It is a utility sink used to wash clothes, pots and pans, mop floors, bathe kids, etc. Very utilitarian and very essential.
