We cross over this bridge and others many times when we are visiting members in Esquipulas. Notice the "apartments" in the background with the laundry hanging. The river is pretty dirty -- and will be until the rainy season washes it out to sea. Ugh! Yesterday we walked about four miles as we traversed the town.
