Last night of classes at the Church

On Thursday night we finished up for this year. I made treats for Spencer's two classes. In our adult class, everyone brought food, they learned to play Rummi Kube, we ate and laughed and visited. It was a "language learning laboratory" where they were able to practice speaking English in a social situation (party) and converse on that level. However, we did have to use some Spanish in learning to play the game. In the kids' class we played Memory with cards for Opposites (in English) and had some parents join in. Then we played Bingo with vocabulary and phrases in English and then we ate! It was a fun night and I was pumped. Two kids brought me presents--that was a surprise for me.
