Visit with Gladys and "troops:

Gladys was busy measuring her kids' feet with a knot in a string so we could buy some shoes for them to wear to church. Notice the blue metal barrel in the foreground? That is their cook stove--you don't need heat here--good thing with plastic outside walls and a palm frond roof. A member of the bishopric helped them get the roof up so that they could have a place to call their own, instead of living and sleeping with cousins all of the time.
