These are just sample pictures of the rain forest we boated through to celebrate my birthday with a river trip down Rio Dulce. It ends up at Livingstone which is on the coast of the Caribbean / Atlantic Ocean. It was amazing for these two desert rats to behold.

These are almost identical to some pictures I took at Los Haitises National park in the Dominican Republic. (You can see them in my Facebook photos - Caribbean Cruise part 3.) I didn't know anything about that area, but it ended up being one of the most beautiful places we visited. They have a Bird Island there as well.
