Typical Saturday activities

These are some of the buses the saints ride in to come to the temple. Some come long distances and are exhausted when they arrive. Older siblings--in this case a nine year old--care for younger siblings while their parents are in the temple. This toddler was a busy little boy. We took a 25 cent piece out of his mouth and then a little later a colored pencil! We knew our lesson on prayer was successful when one girl asked for four extra copies of our handout so she could teach the lesson to her family at home. The kids loved being lions while Spencer was Daniel in the lions' den. The roars turned to purrs. And Daniel was safe!
